Ailet 2017 lived to its unexpected nature. It was predictable in the fact that it threw some unpredictable surprises. And they came in legal gk, and gk. Surprises aside the paper was doable, and for which some would say easy. So a student should’ve spent time on solving the doable part of the paper for maximisation of scores and then worked around the tricky questions which needed some more time and some more thought.
A detailed analysis of the sections is as follows
English – English had a predictable mix with a few questions slightly different. Close test, sentence correction and vocabulary were on track with 10, 4 and 8 questions in them respectively. The parajumble was a little different with not the regular options and predicting the lines in the options. This made it a little different however it was doable. The section overall was easy with no passage. That was little disappointing.
Logical
The logical section was a mixed bag with AR in full form and just 5 questions on CR. the CR was doable. AR there were three long puzzle sets. Other than that there were. Mixed bag of questions with some tricky sets as well. AR took longer than usual to solve and around 20 marks here were good.
Legal.
Just as last year lot of focus was given to legal reasoning with 19 questions from it. These questions were of a specific nature and difficult. And completely undoable for the uninitiated. The reasoning questions were doable but few and scattered and were
10 in number, 5 assertion and 20 legal gk questions in all.
Question we’re also on some current legal development, case law, and then out of the planet questions like the case behind the slang ‘john doe’ and the robot lawyer ross.4. Current affairs like youth bar association judgment, maternity benefit duration, public trust doctrine, legal personality awarded to river in New Zealand
Maths
All 10 questions were doable. Difficulty level was mostly easy. No unexpected topic or question surfaced in this section. A score of 8-9 ,can be considered as a good score. The breakup of topics was …..MENSURATION-1 PROFIT LOSS -1. AGES -1. PERCENTAGES -1. AVERAGES -1. TIME WORK -1. CALENDERS -1. UPSTREAM DOWNSTREAM -1. TRAINS (TIME SPEED ) -1
Gk
Most of the GK was doable for those who prepared the year round. But some questions were difficult. A good score here was 25.
The overall cut off we predict is 99-101.
Please upload the gk answers
I hope cut off should not be go more 90+ for general
