- The Lok Sabha Secretariat has disqualified Lakshadweep’s only MP Mohd Faizal after he was convicted in an Attempt to murder case by the Murder.Mohd Faizal from Nationalist Congress Party and 3 others were sentenced to 10 years of Prison and rigorous Imprisonment after they were found guilty for attacking Mohd Salih, another Politician from Indian National Congress during the 2009 Lok Sabha Elections.
- The First batch of Agniveer Scheme have started the training at the Ranikhet’s Major Somnath Sharma Training Ground.The Agni veers will receive a training for a total of 24 to 31 weeks.
