India wins women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup
Indian team produced an all-round show to crush England by 7 wickets in the final to win the inaugural ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
The final match of the tournament took place in Potchefstroom, South Africa.
Hindenburg report alleged fraud by its firms, Adani Group says attack on India’
The Adani Group equated the allegations against its companies by the New York-based Hindenburg Research in a report last week to a “calculated attack on India”, its institutions and the Indian “growth story”.
The group said the report is framed with malafide intentions. It further said the Hindenburg report is neither ‘independent’ nor ‘objective’ nor ‘well researched’.

This has been done to promote the production and consumption of millets.
Report: 165 death penalties by trial courts in 2022, most since 2000
Even as the Supreme Court has called for reforming death penalty sentencing, trial courts awarded 165 death sentences in 2022, the highest in over two decades, according to the Annual Death Penalty Report, 2022.
The report is being released by Project 39A, a criminal reforms advocacy group with the National Law University, Delhi.
