The Symbiosis International University conducted its SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) on the 5th of May, 2018.

SET 2018 lived to its expected nature. The level of the paper ranged from easy to medium. The paper could have been easily completed within an hour.

Gk comprised 90 percent current affairs with only few questions from static. GK was doable for all those who prepared the year round. But 4-5 questions were tricky & absolutely new.

In the Analytical reasoning section there were few questions of Quantitative aptitude from topics like percentage, averages etc. Logical reasoning section comprised of not more than 4-5 questions from Critical reasoning. Remaining questions were  mostly asked from Coding-Decoding, Series and Arrangement, Missing Numbers, Visual Reasoning etc.

Unlike last year 30 questions in English were based on Reading Comprehension. But most of these were easy in nature.

Legal Reasoning section as expected comprised of mostly principle-fact based questions with few questions from legal current affairs which were tricky. No unexpected topic or question surfaced in this section.

Overall the level of paper was easy and the expected cutoff can range between 110-115 for Pune and 102-105 for Noida.
